Presenters: Robert L. Denney, PsyD, ABPP, Kyle Brauer Boone, PhD, ABPP, & Klayton Smith, PsyD

Date: Thursday, June 6, 2019 (2:00 pm – 5:00 pm) at AACN Conference in Chicago, IL

Learning Objectives:

  1. List five PVTs that appropriate for use in low IQ populations (i.e., that maintain adequate specificity).
  2. Identify three PVTs that are particularly problematic for use in low IQ populations (i.e., that have low specificity).
  3. Explain how to use multiple PVTs (with cut-offs adjusted to be protective of low IQ patients) to maximize discrimination of credible low IQ patients from individuals feigning low IQ/global dysfunction.
